Many children now have their own bed, thanks to Ashley Furniture's "Hope to Dream" program

VICTORIA, Texas - A growing child needs sleep. Now thanks to a well known furniture store, many more children in the area will sleep better starting tonight.

Every year Ashley Furniture store hosts the 'Hope to Dream" bed giveaway. Ashley Furniture delivers beds to area children who may not have a comfortable place to sleep. on Saturday, a total of 78 beds were given to children in the Victoria area.

"So sleep is a huge component, and because summer is coming up, kids will have more time to rest. I feel like its the perfect time to get a great nights rest with a new bed, and a whole bunch of goodies to get them ready, so they can have an amazing summer and get school started off right next year," said Paige Streiff, owner of Ashley Furniture.

Since 2013, Ashley Furniture stores have given away over 800 beds to children in need throughout South Texas.
