What we're tracking: Latest computer model guidance suggests strong-severe thunderstorms may develop in the Crossroads this afternoon with possibly another round arriving overnight. The main risks associated with storms will be small hail and strong winds, although a tornado cannot be fully ruled out. Storm initiation will likely begin in the early to mid afternoon sometime after 1 p.m. with rain/storm coverage increasing from isolated to scattered in the late afternoon. Another round of strong-severe thunderstorms will arrive overnight. These thunderstorms are expected to arrive after 3 a.m. and exit the Crossroads somewhere before 9 a.m. See below for the severe risk area issued by the Storm Prediction Center at 11:25 a.m.
