Lisa Wube appointed new director of parks & recreation in Victoria

VICTORIA, Texas - The City of Victoria announced the appointment of Lisa Wube as its new director of Parks & Recreation.

Wube previously held positions as Parks & Recreation director for the City of Lancaster, assistant director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Irving, and sports director for the City of Evansville, Indiana.

Wube holds a master’s degree in physical education and recreation with a concentration in athletic administration from North Carolina Central University. Additionally, her background includes collegiate athletics, having played Division I college basketball.

Her tenure with the City of Victoria will commence on April 29.
