BANGOR - Despite three scoreless innings from both sides, Hermon softball took down Bangor on Monday night 7-0, snapping a two-game losing skid. Bangor's Taylor Clark retired the first six batters she faced. The Hawks' Mikelle Verrill allowed two hits to start the game, one to Eva Coombs and one to Victoria Jarnich, but then struck out the next three hitters to end the first, and stranded a runner on second in the second.

Ohoka Johnny N (1:55-$8.00) propelled Deslandes toward his hat trick performance with a dazzling gate-to-wire victory, timed as the fastest mile recorded during the young season at Bangor.
