Joseph Harrow beams with pride at his 9-year-old daughter Lucille as they finish the first Lakeshore Shuffle 5K Run and Walk. “She never ran a mile,” said dad of Lucille, a third grader at Dewey Elementary School. “I knew she would make it.” More than 150 runners signed up and 122 completed the race. The course ran from Lake Street north to the Northwestern University Lakefill, then south to Lee Street before turning north back to Dawes Park. With 18 holes of golf remaining, Northwestern leads the 2024 Big Ten Championship at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, OH., by three shots over Michigan State. NORTHBORO, Mass. - The Algonquin boys lacrosse team beat Wachusett 8-5 on Thursday night on the turf at the new Titans sports complex. Wachusett is having its best season in 20 years, and Algonquin is always one of the top teams in CMASS, so this was a good matchup with a good crowd.
