Haiti project fundraising gala set for Venice

VENICE — The Haiti Project, a non-profit organization dedicated bringing food to Haiti, will host its fundraising gala in Venice.

The event is set for 5 p.m. on June 1 at the Plantation Golf & Country Club.

"The Haiti Project has been tirelessly working to alleviate hunger and poverty in Haiti by providing nutritious meals to those in need," stated a press release about the event. "Through community outreach programs and strategic partnerships, the organization has made a significant impact on the lives of many individuals and families in Haiti."

Reeser Williams, the founder and president of the organization, said he was excited to invited the Venice community to participate.

"Our annual fundraising gala is a wonderful opportunity to come together, support a great cause, and have a memorable evening filled with information, delicious food, and philanthropy," Williams said.

The gala will feature entertainment, inspiring stories, and opportunities to learn more about The Haiti Project's initiatives. Funds raised from the gala will directly support the organization's ongoing efforts to combat hunger and poverty in Haiti.
