Man shot multiple times trying to stop person from breaking into car
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man was hospitalized early Sunday morning after being shot multiple times while trying to stop the shooter from breaking into a nearby car. It happened around 12:15 a.m. Louisville police responded to a call of a shooting in the 600 block of Creel Avenue. There, they found a man who’d been shot in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to live.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were killed in a shooting at a night club in Louisville early Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police. LMPD responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Evangeline Avenue to The Hot Spot in the Southland Park neighborhood around 5 a.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot to death.

Steve Healey said officers with the 3rd Division responded to the 4700 block of Crawford Avenue at 10:58 p.m. on a trouble run of an armed suspect. Upon arrival, officers were met by a suspect with a knife.
