Man shot multiple times trying to stop person from breaking into car
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man was hospitalized early Sunday morning after being shot multiple times while trying to stop the shooter from breaking into a nearby car. It happened around 12:15 a.m. Louisville police responded to a call of a shooting in the 600 block of Creel Avenue. There, they found a man who’d been shot in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to live.
Shootings in Louisville over Mother’s Day weekend leave multiple dead, injured
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro police officers were called to multiple shootings over Mother’s Day weekend. LMPD confirmed seven people are dead and five people are injured from the shootings that happened from Friday through Saturday. Louisville Metro police said one of these incidents was an officer-involved shooting.
