Omaha Police investigating overnight homicide
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police are investigating after an early-morning stabbing left a 17-year-old dead. OPD tells 6 News officers were called to the area of 53rd and Spaulding Streets shortly after 3 a.m. for a “medical nature unknown” call. Before officers arrived, they were told a person had been stabbed and was being taken to Nebraska Medicine by private vehicle. Once on the scene, officers spoke to witnesses who said the suspect was still on scene. She was taken into custody without incident and taken to OPD headquarters for questioning.

4 adults nabbed in Omaha convenience store drug bust formally charged
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The four adults arrested last week in connection with a drug operation at a metro convenience store appeared before a judge Monday morning. The men are allegedly tied to an investigation by the Omaha Police Department’s Narcotics Squad into the Goodies Vape & Tobacco at 90th and Lake. A search of the store on Thursday turned up a “large amount” of illegal THC products, psychedelic drugs, and firearms. Douglas County deputies also searched a home a few blocks away and recovered 54 pounds of marijuana and about $140,000 in drug proceeds.
