CU BIPOC Collective is hosting a meetup
CU BIPOC Collective is a new community formed by the City of Urbana Arts and Culture Program and the University of Illinois College of Fine and Applied Arts. It was created for local artists and creatives who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. After a successful first meet up, the next event they are hosting will explore the Independent Media Center. The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office shared that Monday’s I-74 closure was a result of a car crash following a police chase. At 1:40 p.m., authorities found a car traveling on Bloomington Road in Champaign that had fled from police in Kankakee County earlier on Monday.
