The Milky Way Drive-In in Franklin is back for another season. The outdoor movie theater, which launched during the first summer of the COVID-19 pandemic and has held its own since, will begin its fifth season May 17 in the parking lot next to Franklin Field in Ballpark Commons, 7035 S. Ballpark Drive.

Since 1974, The Vegas Cafe in downtown Antioch has been serving up good food and a warm atmosphere. The cafe celebrated its half-century milestone May 1 with a ribbon cutting at the restaurant at 914 Main St. Customers dining in enjoyed a 1974 rollback price of 17-cent coffee all day.
Meet Bella, the 5-legged dog up for adoption
Bella is a five-legged puppy who stunned the Wisconsin Humane Society. A family recently surrendered her in Kenosha. Immediately, vets there noticed her unusual hind leg. "Our veterinary team decided to get her X-rays, of course. And we discovered something that we have never seen before in our 145-year-old history," said Angela Speed, with the Wisconsin Humane Society. That X-ray revealed an entire extra set of leg bones.

Oak Creek may soon be full of ninjas. Locals looking for an athletic challenge can visit the newly opened Ultimate Ninjas, 400 W. Bell Court, #350.
