Attorney general rejects library agreement
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Arkansas’ attorney general has rejected an interlocal agreement between Craighead and Poinsett Counties concerning the local library. In an opinion issued on Monday, May 20, Attorney General Tim Griffin stated the agreement, which was approved by the Craighead County Quorum Court in February, does not meet all statutory requirements.
