Man killed in Charles Mix County crash identified
CHARLES MIX COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) – -The 43-year-old killed Friday morning in a crash near Academy, South Dakota has been identified. The Department of Public Safety says Nicholas J. Doney was driving westbound on South Dakota Highway 50. Doney failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and entered the ditch where the vehicle vaulted over a driveway and rolled. Doney was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a nearby health center where he was pronounced dead.

CHARLES MIX COUNTY, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A suspect has been arrested in connection to a homicide in Charles Mix County last week. According to the Charles Mix County State’s Attorney’s Office, 18-year-old Mackenzie Antelope of Lake Andes has been charged with Murder and Manslaughter for the May 22 death of 22-year-old Quinlan Ream of Lake Andes.
