Gilmer dominates track regionals in Bullard Monday
GILMER, Texas (KLTV) - The Gilmer Buckeyes dominated the track regionals today held in Bullard this afternoon; the boys 4x100 had heat. The anchor man, sprinter Will Henderson, brought it home, as he was familiar with the finish line often. In the 100M where he won state last season, he held off the competitors. Losing is not in his DNA.
Spring Hill's Schott has 2 doubles in UT-Tyler win
LAREDO, Texas (KLTV) - Former Spring Hill Panther Sam Schott drove in three runs in UT-Tyler’s 11-1 win over Texas A&M International on Sunday. Batting leadoff and starting in left field, the junior was 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored. Schott hit her first double in the third inning, driving in two runs. She later scored on a single to make the score 9-0. In the fourth, Schott hit her second double, which drove in a run and gave UT-Tyler an 11-0 lead.
West beats East in Azalea Orthopedics 19th Annual All-Stars Basketball Classic girls game
TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The Girls West All Stars beat the Girls East All Stars 67-55 Saturday night at Wagstaff Gym on the campus of Tyler Junior College in the Azalea Orthopedics 19th Annual All-Stars Basketball Classic. On the boys side, the East All Stars won 74-59 over the West All Stars.

Bullard girls clinch berth in state tournament
The Bullard Lady Panthers are headed to the UIL Class 4A Girls Golf State Golf Tournament. The Lady Panthers finished third at the Class 4A Region III Tournament, clinching a berth to the state event, which is scheduled for May 6-7 at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland, which is near the confluence of the Colorado and the Llano rivers, which combine to form Lake LBJ. The course is about 60 miles northwest of Austin.
TJC Baseball splits Sunday’s doubleheader versus Navarro College

Lindale’s Hammonds gets big hit in Tarleton win
STEPHENVILLE, Texas (KLTV) - Former Lindale Eagle Mason Hammonds had a two-out, two-run single in Tarleton’s 7-2 win over UT-Rio Grande Valley on Sunday. Batting leadoff and starting at third base, the senior was 1-for-2 with two walks. Hammonds walked inthe first inning, walked in the third and got the hit in the fourth.
UT Tyler Coach Mike Reed earns 900th career win
The UT Tyler Patriots swept Texas A&M International on Sunday in a Lone Star Conference softball doubleheader, giving head coach Mike Reed his 900th career victory. Win No. 899 was a 3-0 victory in Game 1, while the No. 900 win was a 2-0 triumph in Game 2 in Laredo.
