Meth found on man doing burnouts in stolen vehicle
MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) - A Fargo man is charged in Clay County after a Moorhead Police officer caught him doing ‘burnouts’ in a stolen vehicle. Shaynne Allen Normandin is charged with receiving stolen property and 5th degree drug possession. According to court records, he was pulled over for exhibition driving on April 18.
Zebra mussels found in Lee Lake near Hawley, MN
HAWLEY, Minn. (Valley News Live) - The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has confirmed zebra mussels in Lee Lake, near the city of Hawley in Clay County. A lake property owner contacted the DNR after noticing zebra mussels along the shoreline and attached to a rock. A DNR invasive species specialist found adult zebra mussels on a dock at the Lee Lake public water access and at a second location about three-quarters of a mile from the public water access.
