Girls are gunning for fifth league championship
YUCCA VALLEY — Technically, the preseason hasn’t started yet, but the Trojan girls basketball team is already 4-1 and setting their sights on a league championship. “The team will be looking for their 20th straight CIF playoff appearance and fifth consecutive Desert Valley League championship, with Twentynine Palms and Coachella Valley being the teams that will provide the biggest challenge for the league title,” head coach Jess Geeson said.
