Woman killed in Tuscaloosa shooting

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Authorities in Tuscaloosa responded to a fatal shooting early Thursday morning.

According to Cpt. Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, Tuscaloosa police responded to a crash at about 3 a.m. around 15th Street and I-359. A woman was found in a vehicle fatally shot. Kennedy later identified the victim as 28-year-old Brunesha Renee McIntosh.

The TVCU started an investigation. After collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses, police identified Ladarious Jaqaun Bullock, 25, as a suspect. Bullock is charged with capital murder and in police custody outside of Tuscaloosa County.

Kennedy stated the murder was the result of a domestic altercation. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
