    2nd juvenile dies from Tuscaloosa shooting

    TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A second juvenile has died from a Tuscaloosa shooting that occurred late Friday night .

    According to Cpt. Jack Kennedy with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, Tuscaloosa police responded to the 2200 block of Reece Boulevard around 11 p.m. Friday on report of a shooting and car crash.

    At the scene, officers discovered a vehicle crashed into a house, and one occupant was pronounced dead from gunshot wounds. A second occupant was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Kennedy stated Sunday the TVCU was notified the shooting’s second victim died.

    Because both victims are juveniles, Kennedy noted police will not release identifying information on them.

    Kennedy stated a juvenile will be charged with another count of felony murder in connection to the case. That juvenile is also charged with first-degree robbery.
