SPVA Boys Golf Invite Highlights/Results
SUTHERLAND, Neb. (KNOP) - Local golfers took to the course near Sutherland for the annual South Platte Valley Association Conference Boys Golf Invite. In the end Perkins County and Bridgeport would both score rounds of 349 to force a playoff. Perkins County would win in a one hole playoff. Sutherland came away with third place with a score of 354.
Hershey Boys Golf Invite Results/Highlights
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Local golfers were in action Thursday for the Hershey Boys Golf Invite. North Platte’s Blue Team would finish as the top squad with a round of 355. Perkins County took home second place with a score of 359. Individually Perkins County’s Zaybreon Hansen takes the top spot with a score of 78.
Hershey Public Schools renovations almost complete
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -The Hershey Public Schools have been working hard over the last several months on their renovation project on the campus and its nearing completion. The project was proposed in 2018 by the Village of Hershey and officially began in October 2022. The project is currently in phase four out of five. The renovations include a new state-of-the-art kitchen and cafeteria. This will help speed up the lunch schedule and also bring efficiency into the school.
