TROY, NY (WRGB) — A Troy man faces multiple drug and weapons charges following a warrant search Thursday in the city. On Thursday, April 25th, around 9:30am Troy Police Department Detectives and Patrol Officers executed a search warrant in the area of Douw Street and River Street in connection to an ongoing gun and drug sales investigation. The suspect involved in the investigation, identified as Kervin E. Tribble, 45, was taken into custody and his residence was searched.

Troy man faces weapons, drug charges
A Troy man is facing weapons and drug charges. Police responded to the area of Douw and River streets for an investigation. They found an illegal handgun in his possession and drugs such as cocaine, Ecstasy, fentanyl and ketamine. There was also $20,100 in cash in his home, police said.
Six teens charged in related Saratoga County stabbing, robbery
Six people are facing charges in connection with a stabbing in February in Clifton Park, which police said was in retaliation for a robbery. A 16-year-old was stabbed just after 7:30 p.m. on Feb 20 in Redfield Park. Two male “adolescent offenders,” which means they are 16 to 18 years old, and Coray A. Marrero, 19, of Queens, have been charged with first-degree gang assault and first-degree assault. Marrero also faces a second-degree robbery charge, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police: Waterford man had over 20 pounds of pot in car
A Waterford man is accused of possessing more than 20 pounds of pot. Frank W. Grasso, 21, was stopped by police around 7:30 p.m. Saturday for vehicle and traffic violations. Troopers found the drugs in his vehicle, they said. Grasso was charged with criminal possession of cannabis and traffic violations.

Watervliet man arrested in four Stewart’s robberies. A Watervliet man has been arrested in connection with a string of robberies at Stewart’s Shops. Daniel Rosch, 42, allegedly robbed the Stewart’s at 2458 2nd Ave. three times. The fourth robbery was at the Stewart’s at 2002 2nd Ave., police said.

Police: Troy man placed object thought to be bomb as prank
A Troy man is accused of making a bomb threat as a prank. Mathius J. Ortiz, 30, was charged with making a terrorist threat and endangering the welfare of a child. This stemmed from an incident on April 19 around 4 p.m. Police responded to the area of Jefferson Street and 6th Avenue after a group of juveniles reported that they saw a man put an object on the ground and made a statement that it was hazardous, Troy Police said.
