3-4-26 st. mary’s springs academy high school presents grease
St. Mary’s Springs Academy High School is excited to present the high-energy, crowd-pleasing musical Grease by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Set in 1959 at the fictional Rydell High, Grease follows the whirlwind summer romance of cool greaser Danny Zuko and sweet new girl Sandy Dumbrowski. When the school year begins and the two unexpectedly reunite in the halls of Rydell, they must navigate the pressures of teenage life, shifting friendships, and the challenge of staying true to themselves, all set to an electrifying rock ’n’ roll score. Audiences will be treated to iconic hits like “Summer Nights” and “Greased Lightnin’,” along with additional favorites made famous by the original film, licensed through Universal Studios. The School Edition of Grease removes suggestive material and explicit language while preserving the heart, humor, and unforgettable music that have made this show a beloved classic for generations. This production features a talented cast of 31 student performers, each bringing energy and personality to the stage. With show-stopping dance numbers and classic 1950s flair, choreography takes center stage in this lively production. Behind the scenes, 16 dedicated technical crew members work tirelessly to create the magic through dynamic lighting, sound, and stagecraft. And of course, the iconic “Greased Lightnin’” car will make its much-anticipated appearance. Performances will be held at the North Fond du Lac Horace Mann Performing Arts Center, 225 McKinley St., North Fond du Lac:
