Mountain teams bring home hardware at State 1A & 2A Track & Field meets
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - The 1A & 2A KHSAA State Track & Field meet went down in Lexington on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31. One Mountain team that collected multiple medals was Leslie County. The Lady Eagles team of Emily Roark, Hayley Smith, Eden Melton, and Iris Napier won the Girls’ 4x200 meter relay. The Leslie County girls track & field team also finished fourth overall as a team.
