Lesiak, Tomei and Zeitler Lead Southern Baseball to 5-0 Victory over Toms River North

STAFFORD - Brady Lesiak, Gabe Tomei and Logan Zeitler collected hits in the fifth inning to propel the Rams to victory on Thursday vs. Toms River North.

The victory moved the Rams within one game of clinching minimally a tie for the Class A South championship.

Lesiak opened the scoring with a two-run double to score after Ray Mulhern and Mike Kaczynski, who led off the fifth with back-to-back singles.

Gabe Tomei then smashed an RBI triple and Zeitler followed with an RBI single to put the Rams up 4-0 in the fifth.

Tomei added a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to cap the scoring.

Brady Lesiak pitched three innnings, Tyler Mc Cleod three and Jack Cahill finished up on the mound for the Rams.
