    Lucas County man pleads not guilty in Fulton County murder, drug case

    WAUSEON — A Lucas County man has been arraigned here in Fulton County Common Please Court on a murder charge connected to the death of a Toledo shooting victim.

    Edward Polansky Jr., 33, Holland, pleaded not guilty to charged with murder, an unclassified felony; involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony; trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, a second-degree felony; two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a second-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; possession of cocaine, a second-degree felony; possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a second-degree felony; and two counts of having weapons while under disability, each a third-degree felony.

    A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 18 and his $1 million bond was continued.

    The murder and involuntary manslaughter charges allege that Polansky caused the death of another person (John Wolf, 48, Holland) on March 28. The other alleged crimes also occurred on that date.

    Attorney Meira Zucker of Toledo has been appointed as Polansky’s attorney.

    Polansky was being held Sunday at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio where he has been incarcerated since March 29.
