Police seek information on assault at West Toledo bar

Toledo police are seeking information about a felonious assault at Tribe’s Tavern, 4002 W. Alexis Rd.

At 11:20 p.m. Friday, police found Elvis McPherson, 46, bleeding from the head and face. Witnesses told police Mr. McPherson was sitting at the bar when he was attacked by an unknown male without any provocation.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5-feet, 7 inches tall, heavy set, bald, and with a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Mr. McPherson was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital for treatment.
