Exciting Launch: Girls’ Flag Football Teams Debut in Forsyth County with Great Enthusiasm
Three high schools in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County are set to introduce girls' flag football teams in the fall, joining schools from Guilford County for league play with an expected schedule of six to eight games. Despite not being sanctioned by the NCHSAA, the interest in flag football has grown, with schools in Charlotte and Raleigh already fielding teams.
