Man jailed for manslaughter in fatal Bryan Co. crash

2023 Sand Bass Festival to begin
The 2023 National Sand Bass Festival is scheduled to run from June 5 to June 10. There will be a few prefestival events. Saturday, June 3 at 7:00 a.m. is the Mack Stafford Memorial Softball Tournament. It will be hedl at the ball field on 'the hill'. WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - An area of showers and storms will move across parts of Texoma this evening and later tonight. Some of the storms my produce some decent downpours and gusty winds. These storms will weaken and shift north of us after midnight. More scattered activity will be possible on Friday, but the best chance for widespread rain and storms comes Friday evening. Highs on Friday will rise into the 80s to near 90. Temperatures will be a little cooler this weekend with more areas of showers showing up from time to time.
Choctaw Nation celebrates and honors its elders
DURANT, Oklahoma (KTEN) — It was a celebration of elders for the Choctaw Nation. More than 1,000 people — most of them Choctaw elders — attended. "Traditionally, the Choctaw Nation people hold our elders in the highest regard," said Kayla Williams, the nation's Director of Patient Relations and Senior Nutrition. Murray County Deputies take Fentanyl off the Streets
Deputy Bryson Rogers, of the Murray County Sheriffs Office intercepted a suspected stash of Fentanyl pills on May 15. While on patrol near the outskirts of Davis in rural Murray County, Deputy Rogers observed a 2018 Chevrolet sedan strike a curb while traveling west on Highway 7. Once the vehicle came to rest Deputy Rogers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

An election to fill the Marshall County Low-Income will take place Friday, June 9,2023.Voteswillbeaccepted at the polling place located at the INCA Marshall County serves individuals with lowincome in our community, including Marshall County. Therefore INCA’s board must be comprised, in part, of members who represent individuals with low-income.
