About two hours before, Grant started a fire in Homer Glen that the Will County Sherriff’s Department was already investigating.

There were no reported injuries in the fire. Police were able to identify Grant through utilizing license plate reading systems.

Grant was arrested on April 19 and confessed to both incidents during an interview.
