Paducah man arrested after being seen by police robbing a store
PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - A Paducah man was arrested after he was seen by police officers robbing a convenience store at gunpoint and fleeing from the store. On May 6, Paducah Police Detectives began investigating a string of robberies at a local convenience store. Between May 6-9, a black male, later identified as 26-year-old Bryce Woodson, entered the store on three separate occasions. Each time, he pointed a firearm at the clerk, demanded money, and fled before police arrived.
Rollover collision sends Smithland man to hospital
PADUCAH, Ky. — The McCracken County Sheriff's Office responded Thursday to a report of an overturned vehicle at the 6700 block of Lovelaceville Road in McCracken County. According to a news release from MCSO, deputies responded around 12:19 p.m. and found that Shane Freiberg, 19, of Smithland, driving his 1995 GMC Yukon west on Lovelaceville Road, attempted to overtake another vehicle. Freiberg drove off the roadway and overcorrected, which caused the vehicle to overturn.
