OPINION: Vote Snider as a steward of tax dollars

As a local business owner, we need elected leaders who are fiscally responsible. I balance my budget and I expect the same from local government. Jason Snider agrees and that’s why I’m joining other business owners in supporting him for county commissioner.

Jason has been a good steward of our tax dollars as Tigard mayor, and I know he will continue being our advocate as county commissioner. From his private sector management experience, to his time as chair of Tigard’s budget committee, and as mayor, I have always known Jason to ask the question, “Can we do this better and at less cost to taxpayers?” That is exactly the type of person I want to be our next county commissioner.

Many people talk the talk about supporting small businesses, but former Mayor Snider walks the walk. I frequently see him supporting our local restaurants, coffee shops and other businesses in south Washington County. Without hesitation, I’ll be supporting Jason Snider for county commissioner because I know he supports us.
