Pitching ruled the day at Carlisle Wednesday afternoon, as Gettysburg’s Tegan Kuhns and Wes Coolbaugh combined on a one-hitter as the Warriors edged the Herd. Kuhns went the first four innings and did not surrender a hit while striking out eight and walking just one. Coolbaugh, while giving up the lone Carlisle hit, struck out three and issued just a single base on balls. Carson Kuhns was the offensive hero for the Warriors, with two of his team’s three hits and the lone RBI.
