Defiance man convicted of aggravated assault in 2021 bar stabbing, AG says
BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Prosecutors say a Defiance man has been found guilty of aggravated assault for his role in a 2021 stabbing outside a Bedford County bar. Brian Taylor was arrested in November of 2021 following an investigation into an altercation outside Rookeez Bar & Grille in Coaldale Borough.
Local Students Collaborate with VFW to Clean Hometown Heroes Banners in Chambersburg
Members of the Career Magnet School (CMS) Student School Board and Mrs. Garland’s civics class participated in a community service project aimed at cleaning the Hometown Heroes Banners that adorned the streets of Chambersburg for two years. The banners, which honor local veterans, have been exposed to various weather conditions, resulting in significant dirt accumulation.
WellSpan Hospitals Recognized for Environmental Efforts
Five WellSpan hospitals have received the Partner Recognition Award from Practice Greenhealth as part of the 2024 Environmental Excellence Awards.
