JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - Two crashes hours apart on I-10 eastbound in Jefferson County led to traffic backups on Friday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The first crash transpired just after 11 a.m. near exit 219 eastbound, according to an FHP press release. Troopers said a semi-truck traveling east on I-10 veered off the road towards the south shoulder and collided with the tree line.

Part of Miccosukee Road to temporarily close Thurs. and Fri.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Part of Miccosukee Road in Tallahassee is closing temporarily for a sanitary service replacement, according to Leon County. The closure is expected to last for 11 hours, starting Thursday at 7 p.m. and ending Friday at 6 a.m., and will close Miccosukee Road between Lee Avenue and Magnolia Drive. The sanitary sewer is being replaced at 1311 Miccosukee Road.

Boston Highway in Jefferson County to close Nov. 2-6 for road work
