I never knew anything about Tallahassee. I couldn’t even find it on a map. I grew up in Bethesda, MD, just outside of Washington D.C. My mom raised me to love baseball, taking me to Orioles games in Baltimore until DC got its new MLB team in 2005, and since then we have been to dozens of games together. So, I’ve always loved the game. I get into all forms of it as well, Little League World Series, college, but never really paid much attention to softball.
