Cain said he is trying to grow his career like the guy who follows him on stage Friday night, Joel Haydel who, like Cain, also spends time in Nashville.

“So, I signed a publishing deal here about three years ago with Wide Open Music and I’ve been signed there as a songwriter ever since. We’ve got an artist development project in motion right now for me. I’ve got three new singles coming this summer,” said Haydel.

Saturday is also a full day of entertainment with the stage running from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Then, on Sunday, one of the Kings of Zydeco, the great Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco band, tear things up.

The show starts at 4:30 p.m. and he explained what fairgoers can expect.
