HOPE, Ark. (KSLA) - After the shooting death of James Deloney in Hope, Ark., an arrest warrant has been issued for Cortez Darquis Rhodes. On May 10, the Hope Police Department (HPD) obtained an arrest warrant for Cortez Darquis Rhodes, 21, of Hope, for first-degree murder. Rhodes is allegedly involved in the shooting death of James Deloney on May 8.
12 teams compete in Dragon Boat Races at Bringle Lake
TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) - Organizers are preparing boats for the annual Dragon Boat Races in Texarkana. The races will feature 12 teams competing at Bringle Lake near the Texas A&M campus. The first race is set to begin at 9 a.m. Each boat is designed for a 22-member team. The races are free to the public. This is the 7th year the dragon boat races have come to Texarkana and the event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit group, Hands on Texarkana.
