Arrest made in deadly I-20 shooting
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - An arrest has been made in connection to the fatal shooting that took place on I-20 on April 23. The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office said 36-year-old Gurpreet Singh Judge and someone driving a dark-colored SUV got into some sort of verbal altercation. Both drivers pulled over and got out of their vehicles.

Family members of a missing Cass County man still are searching for answers one year after his disappearance. Larry “Bob” Ballard went missing from the Douglasville area on April 27, 2023. Bob, 56, was last seen at 11 p.m. that date on County Road 2116 and County Road 2118, where his truck had become stuck.
Benton's Todd Martinez resigns; Tigers search for a boys basketball replacement
Benton boys basketball coach Todd Martinez has resigned his position, according to principal Whitney Clark, but no reason was given for his departure. Martinez, who coaches with his wife, Toni Martinez, joins girls basketball coach Mary Ward and softball coach Tracey Rambin, as Benton coaches departing this school year. Both Ward and Rambin are retiring due to their length of service in Louisiana schools.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Two thunderstorms triggered tornado warnings in northwest Louisiana this morning. The first warning issued around 9:30 a.m. was for Caddo Parish, as a storm showed rotation on radar near LA-3132 and Mansfield Road. A funnel cloud was reported but so far no reports of anything touching down on the ground.
