TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — At least two vehicles were involved in a crash along a main roadway in Terre Haute.

The crash happened at the intersection of 3rd Street (U.S. 41) and Poplar Street around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

No word yet on potential injuries involved or the cause of the crash.

Terre Haute Police Department, Terre Haute Fire Department, and Indiana State Police responded to the scene.

Indiana State Police confirmed they were only on scene to assist with traffic while crews cleaned up the wreckage. THPD is the lead agency investigating the crash.
