    Firefighters respond to house fire in Terre Haute

    TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Yet another home, believed to be abandoned, has caught fire in the city of Terre Haute on Wednesday morning.

    James Holbert, Terre Haute Fire Battalion Chief, said the initial call came in at 9:21 a.m. regarding a residential fire at the corner of N. 12th Street and Indiana Avenue.

    Holbert said the home appears to be an abandoned structure, and firefighters were able to get the situation under control 10 minutes after arriving.

    Crews respond to commercial structure fire in Terre Haute

    Holbert added that the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. No injuries occurred in this incident.
