While Palm Beachers love all the island has to offer, they at some point must cross one of the three bridges that link the town to West Palm Beach. Off-peak-hour crossings are fine if one happens upon a bridge opening, since there generally is not a long line of traffic, but the stress goes up if that happens during peak hours when one is heading to work, taking a child to school or dashing to the airport.
