Leominster woman charged with killing boyfriend had accused him of violence before, court docs say
Jami Parker, 28, has pleaded not guilty to charges that she allegedly shot and killed her 53-year-old boyfriend during a domestic dispute on May 1. A Leominster woman who’s been charged in the shooting death of her boyfriend had previously accused him of domestic violence, according to court documents.
Police: 1 dead, another in critical condition following Friday stabbing on Northbridge Town Common
NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. - The Worcester County District Attorney's office is investigating a deadly stabbing in Northbridge. DA Joseph Early, Jr. says the call came in to local police around 9:30 Friday night for multiple stabbings on the town common. Early says police responded to what he described as a "chaotic" scene, with several people on the common and two people were suffering stab wounds. Both were transported to the hospital where one, a 20-year-old male, was pronounced dead. The other, a 17-year-old male, was in critical condition as of Saturday morning.
Gabriel Dias De Holanda Back In US To Face Manslaughter Rap
Gabriel Dias De Holanda, 19, is facing charges of manslaughter, motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the Worcester County District Attorney said. He is expected to be arraigned sometime on Monday, May 6.
Local law enforcement prepares to keep roads safe during Cinco de Mayo
DELMARVA – Cinco De Mayo is almost here, and a lot of people are gearing up for Sunday’s celebrations. However, if you plan on consuming alcohol during the holiday, law enforcement is urging you to find a sober ride home. Worcester County Sheriff Matt Crisafulli says this weekend–or any weekend–is not the time to drive intoxicated: “We just have to proactively prepare by having an additional man power on the road to accommodate the influx of visitors which could also potentially increase the cost of service.”
