18 Wheeler Fire @ Love’s Truck Stop May 13, 2024

At 0618 on May 13, 2024, an 18 wheeler fire @ the Love’s Truck Stop was reported. Magee Fire responded with 3 units & 14 personnel. Upon arrival, found a tractor/trailer well involved under the diesel fuel canopy. The tractor and two adjoining full pumps were under heavy flames impingement. A near-by tractor trailer was an exposure issue (being threatened by the flames). The fuel pumps were shut off at the emergency fuel stop switch.
