Charges filed in animal hoarding situation in Lackawanna County
One person was taken into custody last night after dozens of animals were found inside a home in Lackawanna County. Animal control responded to reports of animal hoarding along Meylert Avenue in Scranton around 5 p.m. 26 cats and two dogs were removed from the property. Seven puppies were removed from that same house last week. The house in Scranton has been condemned.
