    A new 40,000-square-foot private club is coming to downtown Tampa

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A new club is coming to the heart of downtown Tampa.

    The Elliott, a soon-to-be 40,000-square-foot private club, will sit at 500 E Kennedy Boulevard, construction company, Ellison Builds, wrote on Instagram .

    According to the company, the building, designed by renowned architect M. Leo Elliott, will be “transformed into a private club named after its designer” and is slated to feature “several bars, a jazz lounge, a wellness center, rooftop garden terrace, cigar room, and event space.”

    The building was previously the home of The Attic Cafe, which relocated to 1920 E 7th Avenue.

    Ellison Construction is a prolific company that has constructed several popular Tampa Bay businesses , including Armature Works, Sparkman Wharf, Oxford Exchange, and Buddy Brew.

    More information on The Elliot’s opening timeline and membership costs will be revealed at a later time. WFLA has reached out to Ellison Construction to determine the expected opening date for the private club.
