Summit County man wins big on April 30 episode of 'Wheel of Fortune'

A Tallmadge man has won big after defeating two other contestants in Tuesday's episode of "Wheel of Fortune."

Russ Gergely won $22,500 after appearing in the 41st season of the show. He made it to the bonus round, but failed to solve the puzzle and take home a new car. See what answer he needed in order to get a new set of wheels in the video above.

Gergely, who works for Coca-Cola according to his LinkedIn profile, appeared on the show months before the last episode hosted by the legendary Pat Sajak airs. Ryan Seacrest, best known for hosting "American Idol," will take over hosting duties beginning with Season 42.

"Wheel of Fortune" airs weeknights at 7 p.m. on CBS.
