DPS says the driver has been identified as 35-year-old Micah Elfrink of Sweet Springs, Missouri. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.

No other injuries have been reported. The investigation is active and ongoing.

In addition, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that getting adequate sleep on a daily basis is the only true way to protect yourself against the risks of driving when you’re drowsy. Experts are urging consumers to make it a priority to get seven to eight hours of sleep per night.
