St. Clair Co. hospital to offer human milk for babies in need
O’FALLON, Ill. (First Alert 4) - A hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois, will now have human milk for sale, becoming the county’s first ‘milk bank’. HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon has started selling milk in partnership with Mother’s Milk Bank of The Western Great Lakes (Milk Bank WGL). Families can purchase the donor milk, which will be pasteurized for safety, to use for short-term emergency use.
