Man fires gun at plain clothes police officers, arrested
FRENCH CREEK, W.Va (WDTV) - An Upshur County man was arrested after firing a gun towards plain clothes police officers, according to court documents. On Tuesday, deputies with the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office received multiple complaints of Seng Run Road in French Creek being blocked by a landowner and another landowner brandishing guns at people.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Midway through the month of April and one thing is for sure! Namely, the spring storm season remains active. Take this afternoon when storm clusters with lightning strikes, hail and strong winds have passed through parts of Central West Virginia, including the Little Kanawha and upper Elk River valleys. One hail cell in particular buffeted eastern Braxton County with marbles and dimes (size of hail stones) while no doubt whitening the ground in spots.
