Clover Valley Farm Trail Launches Season Two
ùDuluth Township, Minn. – A group of 10 locally-owned, small farms located between Duluth and Two Harbors will launch season two of the “Clover Valley Farm Trail” on May 26. The trail, modeled after Bayfield, Wisconsin’s, “Fruit Loop”, provides farmers the opportunity to sell items commonly found at farmers markets directly from their farms.

DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth elementary students are celebrating books the best way they know how, with ice cream. The Gary New Duluth Recreation Center hosting students from Stowe Elementary Thursday. The book worms gathered to commemorate all the reading they have done since their I Love to Read event in February. Not only did the kids enjoy ice cream sundaes but they also got incentives from the Duluth Library and Barnes & Noble.

New Artwork from Renowned Artist Hangs from the Ceiling in the Holiday Center Atrium
DULUTH, Minn. — If you have been inside the Holiday Center in downtown Duluth the last couple of days, you will have noticed it is getting some new artwork. Anne Labovitz grew up in Duluth and has been doing art exhibitions all over the world for 30 years. North Shore Blue is the name of the work on display in the Holiday Center Atrium. It features long pieces of painted Tyvek suspended from the ceiling on both ends. The goal was to infuse color and energy into the atrium that resembles Lake Superior.
81-year-old Duluth man found with ‘significant’ injuries after assault, suspect arrested
DULUTH, Minn. -- One man is behind bars and another is in the hospital with “significant” injuries after an assault in Duluth’s Chester Park neighborhood Friday morning. According to Duluth Police, at 8:50 a.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Woodland Avenue for a report of an 81-year-old man found in a bathroom with “significant” head injuries.
