70 Firefighters Quell Early Morning Blaze at Vacant Hollywood Home, No Injuries Reported
A blaze erupted in the early hours at a vacant craftsman-style home in Hollywood which required the efforts of 70 firefighters to knock down, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. The fire, which engulfed the two-story structure at 1816 N Wilton Pl, was first reported at 1:03 AM, according to a LAFD alert. Flames were visible upon the fire department's arrival, leading them to engage initially in an offensive mode to battle the inferno.

Dog escapes attack from group of coyotes that jumped 7-foot tall fence of Van Nuys home
A Van Nuys family says that their beloved dog is recovering after surviving an attack from a trio of coyotes that hopped the 7-foot tall fence of their yard this week. It happened on Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m. when the family's dogs were in the yard.
